A few Sundays have come and gone...
We've been playing and having a laugh, getting to know each other, improvised together and done more and more devising. The devising stimuli have been pictures and poems, it resulted in a range of ideas due to the different sets of minds that belong to our group! Very interesting. Kim has been filming some of it as it might work as inspiration for what is about to come. Our recruitment deadline is today, which means that our group is pretty much set, and it's just as diverse and positive as we could have ever hoped for it to be.
Good news! Our performance venue has been confirmed.
It's going to be Frilagret: http://www.frilagret.se/
It's located in Gothenburg city near Järntorget. The dates are yet to be confirmed but our opening night may be Sunday the 9th of November. A good thing with Frilagret is that some tech support will be included with the venue. Also, due to the nature of the performance space, we're looking at doing the play maybe three times, which I think is good news on the whole. At this point I'm also finishing writing our press release. At the last session we had some pictures taken and hopefully will have something of value to send to the press.
