Theatre Board - Theatre of the Enlightened.
6 actors seated in a row and 1 conductor. Each actor trained in playback, theatre of the oppressed and comedy improv techniques. The conductor's role is to facilitate the audience, choose the actors and choose the specific modes for the method.
The method is to have ideas presented by tellers from the audience and then immediate playback from the audience. Feedback from an audience is taken in order to change elements for the better.
Actors are trained to listen to feedback to incorporate teller and audience's ideas.
Modes:
- Long Impro
A chance for the actors to improvise a lengthy few scenes based on the idea presented by the teller.
- Walk through
The actors talk out of character and in character to showcase elements of ideas.
- Conducted
The conductor takes initiative and casts the actors into roles and works out a theme to be played with. The conductor will interject and develop the ideas further for development.
- The director
An actor is chosen to play the role of the director, they chop and change the scene as they go recasting roles then working on scenes to get them better.
- Fluid sculpt
Each actor steps forward one by one and forms a living organism that represents the idea expressed.
- Rainbow
Each actor steps forward one by one to represent moments in time. Cascading from one side to the other they come forward and create a moment to represent a place in time within the expressed idea.
