I went to London! Just for a two day course, but I had so much fun. The course was by the legend Adrian Jackson MBE and it was on 'Jokering' a specific style of facilitation. I met some fantastic people and it was great to connect with fellow Theatre of the Oppressed enthusiasts. This course was practical so I had to get up and do things. I learned things and I'm still processing. I want more! We actually looked at a play written for Forum Theatre and I was cast as the bully. The piece was useful for our practice regarding facilitation. I actually did some decent acting towards the end of the event. I took Adrian a copy of my MA Dissertation for giggles and I do wonder if he will check it out.
