Julian Boal and its times.

Really happy to have met Dr. Julian Boal, especially after reading his new book Theatre of The Oppressed and Its Times. I recommend this book for any Theatre of The Oppressed (TO) practitioner or anyone else for that matter, as it addresses a pit fall in TO practice. It's the reifying of social phenomena which is something I'm aware of and am trying to address in my PhD. I spoke to Julian in detail regarding my academic journey and how it relates to his fathers legacy. It was a pleasure to meet him but additionally connecting and having the ability to interview him on topics of interest is a great circumstance. I regard his contribution to knowledge important in the field.
